You're Inspired!

Ignite an Interest Workshop Forms 6 - 8
Friday 5th December 1.30pm - 4pm

**Please Remember a Packed Lunch**

Since the "Ignite an Interest" workshops started over 2 years ago we have been able to bring to the children a unique insight in to a variety of professions. However we think it's time to turn the tables on the children and give them a chance to impress. Do we have the next Lord Sugar in our midst? Boys and girls..........YOU'RE INSPIRED!

Shelves to Elves...

This Christmas Furbys will be flying off the shelves, every stocking will contain an Apple (product) and Santa will get an icy reception if there isn't at least some Frozen merchandise! Popularity equals profit but these products didn't get top billing by accident. For each of these product there has been a long journey to the shelves and then to the elves! We plan to take the children on this journey...

Magic & Sparkle...

Marketing is sometimes described as magic and to get the top Christmas spot you need to add sparkle too. We are going to give the children a chance to come up with their own Christmas top seller. Based on a Young Apprentice format the children will be despatched to work within teams to bring their concept to life, conjure up a marketing mix and then present their product and plan to Lord Sugar, Karen and Nick (we may have to buy masks!!)

Christmas Movie Night...

The Compass School Foundation's Movie Night also falls on Friday 5th December 6pm – 8pm. We appreciate that collecting the children at 4pm and then bringing them back for 6pm can be a little challenging so we are proposing that the children stay with us. We will take them out for a bite to eat, perhaps pasta/pizza, before returning to school to watch Home Alone.

There is a small charge of £7 for food and drinks and the children will need £5 for Movie Night.
Please reply to this email to confirm attendance of the Ignite an Interest session and please inform us if your child/children plan to stay for tea and Movie Night.
